Chinese immersion goes beyond learning vocabulary and phrases—it’s about exploring the language through meaningful, hands-on projects. Our project-based learning approach allows children to engage with Chinese in a context that is relevant, playful, and creative.
For example, children might choose a theme, such as “My Favourite Animal” or “Festivals Around the World,” and explore it entirely in Chinese. Through storytelling, drawing, role-play, and collaborative group activities, they learn new words, practice pronunciation, and develop conversational skills naturally. Each project is child-led, allowing their curiosity and interests to shape the learning experience.
This method not only strengthens language acquisition but also supports holistic development. Children enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and creativity—all while immersing themselves in Chinese culture and language.
In early childhood, learning isn’t measured through quizzes or tests. Instead, projects serve as a rich and authentic way for teachers to observe each child’s understanding, language use, creativity, and growth. Through their participation, communication, and problem-solving, teachers gain insight into each child’s development in a natural and enjoyable way.
By learning through projects, preschoolers experience Chinese as a living language, connecting words to real experiences and making learning both meaningful and memorable.
